Description
The MASI winery was founded in 1772 by the Boscaini family and was originally called “Vaio dei Masi” after the place where it was located. Today it is run by the seventh generation of the Boscaini family.
Despite its 200-year history, the MASI winery is still internationally recognized and is one of the leading wineries in the world.
The main grape varieties used in the production of Masi Campofiorin Rosso Verona are 70% Corvina, 25% Rondinella and 5% Molinara. These grape varieties contribute significantly to the characteristics and quality of the wines.
The soils on which the vines are grown consist of alluvial soil and limestone, which gives the wines a special mineral note. Natural corks are used to seal the bottles.
The long history and continuous management by the Boscaini family are proof of the MASI winery’s consistency and commitment to winemaking.
