Description
Matija (Matci) Zerjav is a third-generation winemaker and has been managing his family’s property since 2011. Working in very low intervention, all grapes are farmed organically, only native yeasts are used for fermentation, and stainless steel, amphora and Slovenian oak casks are used depending on the cuvee. No fining, light filtration and minimal SO2 is used at bottling. The “Mea” is 100% Furmint, has a zesty and dry palate that makes a perfect aperitif or goes well with classic fish and poultry dishes.
