Description
We revved up the Melvin Machine and made things cloudy, and the haze selection turned out so well this year we had to make ours a double. We’re bringing New England to Wyoming like the powder days in Jackson do, and the result is a cashmere coated hop juice bomb for the Hazeheads. Until next time…Cloudy 5 Gs.
“Melvin has brought back one of the most popular beers from their rotating imperial IPA series, Cloudy 5000. It pours an opaque, pale orange color with a large, dense, and foamy white head that leaves a good amount of lacing in the glass. Fruity aromas of orange and peach hit your nose up front, backed by citrusy hops, oats, and grainy malts. It has a medium-heavy body with a medium-light carbonation which creates a smooth, almost juice-like, mouth feel. On the palate you get notes of peach, papaya, and light orange, followed by citrusy hops and grainy malts on the mid-palate. The peach notes resurface on the finish with just a light amount of bitterness.” Review by Dan Chacon
