Our US*1 Rye is made fromselect American rye grain that is sheared to enable thesaturation of more flavor during fermentation. It is thenaged in a heated warehouse. This premium rye has hintsof light spice, black pepper, marmalade and plum, spicygrain and light caramel.

Crazy-sweet aroma, full of caramel, vanilla and a slight floral touch. The bite comes first (and lingers awhile), followed by vanilla, caramel, coconut flavors. It mellows considerably with ice, and becomes quite likeable, drinkable and mild.

Sharp and spicy on the nose, with slowly emerging notes of grape jelly, wild strawberries, earthiness, oak, and new leather. Jammy and fruity on a palate that is lightly spiced and offers cinnamon-covered baked apples, gingersnaps, brown sugar, coffee, and cracked pepper. A mid-length finish completes the ride with spicy notes of chicory, camp coffee, dark chocolate, more cinnamon, and light pecan nuttiness. Tasty and pleasurable—smooth and pronounced flavors.
