A mix of spicy floral and herbal tones waft up from the 2017 Molino del Piano Rosso di Montalcino, joined by ripe strawberry and rich balsamic tones. On the palate, soft textures give way to ripe cherry-berry fruits, framed and balanced by zesty acids, with hints of savory herbs and inner florals developing toward the finale. Rosy florals and ripe berry notes linger long on the finish, with a slight tug of zesty acids and minerals. It’s a very pretty Rosso, full of character, charm and energy to burn.
