We are really excited about this one. Amaro is one of our favorite spirits categories. Truly, we all drink it in our off time. It’s bitter (the Italian word for bitter is, you guessed it, amaro), sweet, sometimes savory, and perfect for sipping after a good meal.But it’s also an incredibly versatile tool if you love cocktails. From a paper plane to a Manhattan (swap vermouth for an Amaro) and beyond…understanding the flavor profiles of different amaro expressions and how they can be applied will help you make better cocktails. Amaro can add a depth of flavor that you won’t believe.And to help you figure this out we are partnering with our favorite local producer: Faccia Brutto. Rhys Williams of Faccia Brutto will be leading the session and teach you the ins and outs of Amaro while preparing a few cocktails for you to taste.It’s going to be a delicious night and we can’t wait to learn (and taste along with you).
