Aaron’s Notes:
I have to say this is unlike many Rose’s that I have tasted this spring, or ever for that matter. It is a Dry, crisp, fruit forward wine like we’ve come to expect and love from Rose, however it’s unique in its balance of under ripe strawberry, raspberry without being overly astringent. The acidity is present but not in your face. Being mostly “free run juice” gives it touches of smooth cherry, watermelon and even a little rhubarb. With the elegance of a ballerina, the finish is amazing and leaves you wanting more. I would pair this wine with pan-seared trout and orzo rice. Or just enjoy by the lake while someone else catches dinner.
