Description
The Mueller Kloech winery, located in the picturesque region of Kloech in south-eastern Styria, was founded by Walter Mueller in 1973. Today, his son Stefan Mueller successfully runs the family business. The family’s vineyards are located in the first-class Hochwarth and Seindl sites, which offer ideal conditions for cultivation thanks to their special geographical location and optimal climate. These conditions allow for first-class grape ripening, which is clearly reflected in the taste of the wines.
The vines of Mueller Kloech Gewuerztraminer Kloech Vulkanland Steiermark thrive on tuff, basalt and reddish clay soil, which gives the wine its unique minerality. The wine is matured in stainless steel tanks, then bottled and sealed with a screw cap.
Mueller Kloech Gewuerztraminer has an impressive ageing potential of 5-10 years, during which time the wine can optimally develop its aromas and gain in complexity.
