Description
A treasure of aged Agricole, this edition of Vieux Par Neisson comes to us thanks to Americas “minister of rum” himself, Ed Hamilton. It is a blend of rums aged from 3-9 years in ex-bourbon barrels, which were combined and then finished in Cognac casks for 6 months and bottled as “single barrels” from there (even though they were initially blends, it comes from a single cask of Cognac). Bottled at 45%, this is an inviting and elegant expression of cane juice rum, filled with nutmeg, tropical fruit, roasted nuts, coconut, and slightly spicy oak.
