Description
Casa Paladin is a well-known Italian winery in the Veneto region, more precisely in the DOCG area of Valpolicella. The winery has a rich history dating back to the 1960s when Carlo Paladin founded it.
The winemaking philosophy at Casa Paladin is to combine tradition with modern techniques to produce wines that express the unique terroir of the region. The winery uses a combination of traditional methods and state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the quality and consistency of its wines.
As early as 1975, Malbech was successful in one of the first national wine competitions. This Paladin ferments in steel tanks after a 10-15 day maceration. It is then aged for 12 months in barriques and another 6 months in wooden barrels. It receives its finish in a 6-month bottle aging.
Awards:
– 91 points from James Suckling
