The nosing passes find scents of aniseed and licorice with additional aromas of lead pencil and linseed oil. The palate entry is correctly licorice-like and syrupy; at midpalate the sweetness accelerates and accentuates the aniseed and waxy texture. Finishes long, mildly bittersweet and even a touch quinine-like. Best Buy.
