Description
This wine has a dark crimson color with a garnet hue. Thenose offers an intense, fresh bouquet of rich dark berry fruit, carraway seed, cedar and spice with subtle integrated French Oak notes. The bold palate is characteristic of South Australian Shiraz with flavors of black cherries, plum, mulberry and quince along with dark chocolate and cocoa powder. The fine-grain tannins and natural acid support the flavors on a long finish.

A dark, juicy mix of berry flavors show plenty of herbs and spices, with a touch of black tea. Hints of toasted cumin and white pepper linger on the fleshy finish. Drink now. 5,000 cases made, 1,300 cases imported.

Oodles of ripe, bright plum and red berry fruit opens, backed by peppery spice. The mid-weight palate is equally fruity with lifted acidity and tugged by savory tannins. Easygoing, modern sipping.

This simple, fruit-forward 2020 Barossa Shiraz delivers blackberry jam and black olive aromas with a subtle backbone of old oak. Lightweight and supple, shy dark berry flavors follow. The 2020 will be best enjoyed young.
