Description
The Penfolds winery is one of the oldest and most traditional wineries in Australia and is located in the south of the country. It includes renowned growing regions such as the Barossa Valley, Eden Valley, Coonawarra and McLaren Vale, which are known for their high-quality soils and first-class conditions.
This Chardonnay, an elegant and dense white wine from Australia, is made from carefully cultivated vines rooted in soils of clay, sand and brown earth. After the harvest, the fully ripe grapes are sorted by hand and gently crushed before fermentation takes place in small wooden barrels and French oak casks.
With its minimal residual sugar content, the Penfolds Koonunga Hill Chardonnay has a dry, elegant taste profile that reflects the combination of precision craftsmanship and optimal growing conditions.
