Description
The Penny Blue takes its name from the world’s rarest stamp, Penny Blue, which was printed in 1847.
Today there are probably only 12 pieces of this stamp left. But it only became so popular because of a printing error. It was not printed as usual “Post Paid”, but “Post Office”.
The VSOP bottling is made from the finest single estate cane and aged in ex-cognac, bourbon and whisky casks before being blended by Master Distiller Jean-Francois Koenig and Doug McIvor of Berry Bros & Rudd.
