Description
James Suckling: Attractive flinty grapefruit and lemon citrus notes on the nose as well as some caramelized biscuity aromas, strawberries, wild flowers and fresh-baked bread. The palate’s full and bold with dosage driving it along. Ripe red apple and stone fruit flavors; creamy, rich and simple finish.
Perrier-Jouet’s NV Grand Brut is a very pleasant, mid-weight Champagne that shows lovely complexity. Suggestions of smoke, roasted nuts and light honey add character to a generous core of ripe yellow fruit. The wine offers excellent overall balance and a poised finish.
Lively and mouthwatering, with flavors of black currant, graphite, candied lemon zest and smoky mineral, supported by a creamy mousse. A balanced crowd-pleaser.
