Description
Weingut Polz, located in the south of Styria in Austria, is characterized by its ideal wine-growing location. Founded in 1896, it enjoys a reputation for producing high-quality wines, favored by optimal climatic conditions and specific soil characteristics. Under the leadership of the fourth generation, the winery strives to preserve its heritage and continue the family tradition with a strong focus on sustainability. Responsible for the cellar and vinification, Christoph Polz relies on careful manual work and selective grape harvesting, which underlines the quality of the wines.
This white wine from the Morillon grape variety, also known as Chardonnay, grows on a soil of shell limestone, clay, sand, limestone marl and slate. It is matured in steel tanks and sealed with a screw cap. It has storage potential until at least 2026.
