Description
Port Charlotte Scottish Barley takes its name from the village of the same name, Port Charlotte, where it ripened.
The wind, the rain, the fields and the Atlantic air give this Port Charlotte its unique taste.
It was distilled by seven farmers from Islay: Hunter Jackson, Ian McKerrel, Raymond Fletcher, Donald and Andrew Jones, Mark French, Alastair Torrance and Raymond Stewart.
The Port Charlotte ISLAY BARLEY Heavily Peated Islay Single Malt 2013 matures for 8 years in ex-American and ex-wine casks, these casks come from the Pessac-Leognan region in France.
