Description
At the end of the 1980s, the natural products chemist Petra Spamer-Riether travelled for more than 5 months to the Amazon region of Peru. The young chemist was looking for medicinal plants for a scientific thesis. The shamans of the Indian tribes living there drew her attention to the so-called Pusanga roots. At that time a love potion was developed there with it. The Indian name for this plant is PUSSANGA.
25 years later Petra Spamer-Riether remembered this plant again and had the idea to produce a special spirit with it.
With the help of pomegranate, chili, ginger and cardamom and many other spices, this liqueur is produced since September 2013.
