Description
Rated 91 points Natalie Maclean: From Adelaide Hills, South Australia, Riposte The Dagger 2022 is an elegant and enticing Pinot Noir with ripe cherry, pink florals, anise and baking spice flavors that are generous and rounded on the palate. Tannins are fine and velvety. Enjoy it lightly chilled with a roast duck dinner or cellar to 2028.
The essence of youthful, vibrant Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir from carefully selected vineyards. A bouquet of seductive black cherry overlaid with exotic spices leads to a palate of supple fresh berries, bright acidity and lingering fine grained tannin.

The 2022 The Dagger Pinot Noir is a bright, spicy, fine little intro into Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir. It throws an uncomplicated expression of strawberries, clotted cream, a hint of poached rhubarb and raspberry compote, and the palate is reflective of exactly this. It finishes slightly minty. At about $20AUD, it’s a compelling little wine. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
