Description
It all began when Alois Goelles, David Goelles’ father, created the chocolate spirit in collaboration with Josef Zotter. From that day on, the family started producing rum. The son, David Goelles, then founded the company Ruotker’s in Riegersburg, Styria.
Today, Ruotker’s offers high-quality whiskies, rums and gins.
The special thing about “Ron Johan Rum Dark” is that it is distilled in Styria, while the molasses from which it is made comes from Brazil, Paraguay or the Dominican Republic. The bottle depicts the pirate Black Beard as well as the Austrian Archduke Johann, to whom this rum is dedicated. The White Rum is stored in stainless steel tanks. It is free from any colorants and flavorings.
