Description
Beautiful, sweet cassis and blue fruits, as well as lots of violet and floral notions, emerge from the Cabernet Sauvignon, a full-bodied, rich, concentrated barrel sample with wonderful purity of fruit, a good sense of freshness, and serious length on the finish.
Estate Notes:
The mid palate is perfectly balanced with massive amounts of blue and black fruits, followed with a full-bodied and buoyant mouthfeel that hovers across the spectrum of the palate. Perfectly integrated structure and polished tannins lead to a detailed and long finish that sails off into Cabernet Sauvignon supernova. Allow 2-3 years for the tannins and fruit to come together or enjoy it in its prime 5-10 years out.
Aging: 80% new French oak consisting of Darnajou, Taransaud, Marcel Cadet, Remond, Trueil and Sylvain barrels.
