Description

The boutique winery Heredad Segura Viudas is located outside Barcelona, Spain, nestled in the sunny vineyards of the ancient Penedes wine region. The origins of this winery can be found as far back as the 11th century.

The winery emphasizes biodiversity and is certified as a winery for climate protection.

For the Segura Viudas CAVA Rose, the grapes are harvested and processed by hand. The first and second fermentation takes place with own selected yeast.

The Trepat is macerated for 24 hours at 12-14°C. The Garnacha is macerated for 12 hours at 16-18°C to enhance the flavour. The Pinot Noir is responsible for the spicy note and is macerated in the trailer on its way to the winery.
