Description
Shakara 12 Years Old is a rum produced in Thailand, made from local molasses. Distillation takes place in a column still distillery, whereupon the rum develops its aroma under the influence of the tropical Thai climate.
The name “Shakara” comes from Sanskrit, an Indo-European language, and refers to the South Asian roots of the sugar cane from which the rum is made.
This special blend matures over a period of 12 years in oak barrels.
