Description
The Slyrs whiskey liqueur comes from the Upper Bavarian distillery at Schliersee. The name “Slyrs” is a pseudo-Gaelic verbalization of “Schliersee”.
The distillery was founded in 1999 by Florian Stettner and is located directly on the shores of Schliersee.
Bavarian barley malt is mashed and gently distilled twice in small copper stills. For 3 years, Slyrs Alpine Herbs Liqueur matures in the clear alpine air in new American white oak barrels. Botanicals such as angelica, gentian, and violet root as well as centaury, chamomile flowers, and juniper are just a few of the herbs to which this whiskey liqueur owes its distinctive taste.
