Description
This seasonal beer from Station 26 is perfect for the warmer days that lie just ahead of us. It pours a translucent, pale straw color with a small, dense white head. Aromas of slightly sweet lime with hints of salt hit your nose backed by bready pale malts. It is medium bodied, which is a little heavier than your typical lager, with a medium level, bright carbonation. The lime is slightly sweet on the front of the palate as well, followed by a moderate amount of salt with a good, bready malt, lager base. The lime turns a bit sour through the tail end of the sip and it finishes crisp and just slightly dry. This is a great alternative to some of the more mass produced Mexican beers out there. Plus, the lime and salt are already added! Review by Dan Chacon
