With his tireless quest for perfection, he sought new inspiration everywhere – from exotic Far Eastern spices unloaded at London docks to his travels in remote parts of Europe.
However, Charles Tanqueray also received a few suggestions right on his doorstep. In his notes from the year 1839 ‘Lovage’ was discovered. The reinterpretation is now this London Dry Gin with a balanced, aromatic taste, made from the botanical mixture characteristic of Tanqueray, so that the juniper-citrus style is preserved, but additionally extended with English garden herbs such as lovage and chamomile. This gives the Lovage its herbaceous, celery and slightly earthy taste. Lovage is the perfect gin for creative and new gin long drinks and cocktails. Let us surprise you.
