Description
The Terra d’Aligi winery is a family-run business with a long tradition. The grapes for the Tatone come from the Val di Sangro region in central Italy. The vineyards are located between the Majella mountain massif in Abruzzo and the sea and cover 109 hectares. The climate is Mediterranean, and this region is known for its strong temperature fluctuations.
The name “Tatone” is a term of endearment for important figures, such as the grandfather, within the traditional family culture. The red wine reflects these characteristics.
This outstanding red wine matures for 24 months in large Slovenian oak barrels before being refined for 3 months in the bottle. Only the most modern technologies are used to cultivate the vines in order to protect the quality of the grapes in the best possible way.
