The Exiles Irish Gin is made from 5 different Irish botanicals. Shamrock, red clover, honeysuckle, rowan berries and galeberry form the basis of the gin, with the shamrock being given the greatest importance. The shamrock has been a symbol of Ireland since the 18th century. On St. Patrick’s Day, it was customary to toast “drowning the shamrock”.
