Description
Glenturret is known as the oldest operating whisky distillery in Scotland and has a rich history dating back to 1775. In 1875, Thomas Stewart took over the distillery, which marked a turning point in its history. He decided to change the original name “Hosh Distillery” to “Glenturret”, which not only gave the distillery a new identity but also paved its way to international recognition.
Glenturret Triple Wood Edition Batch No. 3 is a masterfully hand-picked single malt, selected by Glenturret’s Master of Whisky and Distillery Manager Neil K. Cameron. This exceptional bottling, which follows the motto “By hand and by heart”, combines whisky that has been matured in a harmonious combination of American sherry oak, European sherry oak and ex-bourbon casks.
The result is a wonderfully rich and creamy single malt that impresses with its complex aromas and velvety texture.
