Description
The Tommasi winery covers 40 hectares and is located in Pedemonte, in the historic Valpolicella region of Italy. The family estate was founded in 1902 and is currently run by Dario Tommasi, the fourth generation of the family to do so. His three brothers also help with the cultivation, cellar and sales. Today, the estate has 135 hectares of its own vines.
Grapes from the Rafael vineyard in the Valpolicella region are used for this wine. Three grape varieties are used for the production – Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara.
Maturation lasts 15 months in wooden barrels.
