Fragrant hints of marjoram, incense and leather waft through the plumped cherry and wild strawberry flavors on display in this well-meshed red. Fine-grained tannins provide supple definition as this echoes with good tension and focus on the mineral-laced finish. Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio. Drink now through 2036. 6,500 cases made.

The 2021 Etna Rosso is savory and earthy in style, with a mix of grilled herbs and cedar complicating mentholated woodland berries. This is juicy and round, with crisp red and blue fruits that swirl across a stream of lively acidity. There’s a bit of a green streak throughout, which becomes more prominent on the finish. The 2021 tapers off with medium length and a licorice tinge.
