The Miguel Torres winery is located in Vilafranca del Penedes in Spain. Since its foundation, the company has grown from year to year.
Today, the winery covers more than 1,300 hectares of vineyards. The special wines are sold in more than 150 countries and have gained a high reputation worldwide.
Torres Celeste is a red wine made exclusively from Tempranillo grapes. The vines for this Crianza are located at an altitude of 895 meters above sea level, which gives them exceptional intensity and fruit due to the intense sunlight and cool nights. After maturing for 12 months in small oak barrels from America and France, the wine is bottled and sealed with a natural cork.
The name “Celeste” refers to the altitude of the Ribera del Duero region and reflects this particular geographical location.
