Description
The Miguel Torres winery is located in Vilafranca del Penedes, Spain. Since its foundation, the company has been growing year by year. Today, the winery covers more than 1,300 hectares of vineyards. The special wines are sold in more than 150 countries and have gained a high reputation worldwide.
In Catalonia, Spain, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine thrive on diverse soils composed of clay, sand and limestone. Immediately after the harvest, the carefully selected grapes are taken to the press house, where they undergo thorough sorting and are gently opened. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with temperatures closely controlled to optimally develop the wine’s aromas and structure. After fermentation, the wine is aged on the fine lees for several months and finally carefully bottled.
