Before tequila became known as a drink, it symbolized the heart of a volcano. Volcan De Mi Tierra uses a selection of the finest blue agaves from the Highlands to create the unique Tequila Reposado. This tequila is first fermented for nine hours in an autoclave, followed by fermentation with special rum yeast in stainless steel tanks.
Distillation takes place in both a stainless steel and a copper still, which contributes to the tequila’s purity and strength of character. Finally, the tequila is matured for 135 days in American and European oak barrels, which gives it its perfect aroma.
