Description

Weinhof Ulrich, a traditional family business, is located in St. Anna am Aigen in south-eastern Styria. Wine has been produced on the farm since 1893, and today Rupert, the third-generation farm manager, is responsible for the high quality of the wines. Rupert attaches great importance to natural viticulture and careful manual work during the grape harvest in order to ensure the quality and uniqueness of each vintage.

A special highlight for visitors is the “Wine Trail of the Senses”, a well-known 9 km hiking trail that leads directly through the Ulrich family’s vineyards. This trail offers insights into the picturesque landscape and the cultural treasures of the market town. At the Ulrich wine farm itself, visitors can enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding area, ideally with a glass of the farm’s own wine in hand.

Welschriesling is a white grape variety that is particularly appreciated in Styria for its freshness and liveliness. Weinhof Ulrich uses the natural conditions of the south-eastern Styrian climate to cultivate a Welschriesling that impresses with its lively acidity and clear fruitiness. It has an impressive ageing potential until 2027 and is sealed with a screw cap.
