Description

Cork is located on the southern coast of Ireland. It is also home to the small town of Skibbereen and the River Ilen.

In 2007, three good friends joined forces and set up the West Cork Distillery – a small independent whiskey distillery.

As is usual with other West Cork bottlings, this whiskey is also triple distilled.

In order to create a better effect between the copper, the pot stills and of course the rising steam, the stills of West Cork are only half-filled.

The West Cork VIRGIN OAK CASK FINISH Irish Blended Whiskey matures in first-fill bourbon casks and receives a very special finish in Kelvin Cooperage virgin oak casks.
