Westland American Single Malt Whiskey

Description

In pursuit of an authentically American single malt whiskey, Westland brings their signature five-malt barley bill together with new American oak casks – two things practically unheard of in Scotch, producing a dramatically different whiskey in the single malt category.

Aromas of lemon and orange custard, waffle cone, crème brûlée, chocolate custard, jasmine. Palate shows rich fruit, Rainier cherries, Swiss chocolate, almond, bananas, cream, Turkish coffee.

Barley bill includes Washington Select Pale Malt, Munich Malt, Extra Special Malt, Pale Chocolate Malt, and Brown Malt. Fermented with Belgian brewer’s yeast, and aged in new American oak and first fill ex-bourbon. Bottled at 46% abv.
