“The 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Vaucrains opens in the glass with notes of plums, dark berry fruit and cassis mingled with aromas of espresso roast, dark chocolate, rich soil tones and orange rind. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and muscular, it’s built around chalky tannins and lively acids. As usual, this is the most overtly built for the long haul of all Chevillon’s wines, and it will require the most patience.”
