Description
James Fleming founded the Aberlour Distillery in 1879 in the heart of Speyside, a region renowned worldwide for its first-class whiskies. The location, picturesquely situated at the confluence of the Lour Burn and the River Spey and nestled in the impressive landscape of Ben Rinnes, was carefully chosen. The crystal clear, soft spring water, which flows over the pink granite of Ben Rinnes and comes from nearby springs, gives Aberlour whisky its unmistakable character.
Aberlour Triple Cask Speyside Single Malt matured in two different types of American white oak casks and in European sherry casks. These three types of cask, which give the whisky its exceptional depth and complexity, also gave it its name Triple Cask.
The result is an impressively harmonious and multi-layered single malt.
