Description
Irish Single Malt Whiskey Cask Finish / Double Oak Aged. The cuvée is twice aged in select barrels. The first aging is in American Oak, in the warmth of the Caribbean. The second, takes place in European Oak in the cooler climate of Ireland, along the Wild Atlantic Way. There, inside our old Irish Whiskey casks, we gently coax nuances of Single Malt Irish Whiskey into the aged rum through our unique aging process called ‘Methode Sillage’.
Created by one of the last West Indian family-owned rum houses, with a master blender who is one of only two women in the Rum Hall of Fame.
This Gold Medal rum is a blend of Trinidad 8–10-year-old single barrel reserves. Through a trade secret process, it is married to a perfume distillate derived from two types of high-altitude Indian teas and fifteen tropical aromatic flower petals.
