Description
Since 1824, the world-famous Angostura Aromatic Bitters have been made using the same closely guarded secret recipe. Its versatility, which extends far beyond the bar, has made it arguably the most popular and widely used aromatic bitters. The Trinidadian-made bitters is now exported to over 150 countries.
Angostura Coca Bitters enhances the flavour in alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, but can be used just as well in spicy and sweet dishes.
It consists of alcohol, water, cocoa, nibs, glycerine, gentian, spices, sugar and vegetable colouring. The recipe for this brew – named after a town on the Orinoco – comes from a German doctor named Dr. Sieger.
