Description

Machrie Moor is a mysterious moor on the west coast of the Isle of Arran.

During the Bronze Age, this hilly region was home to numerous stone circles, including what is now known as Fingal’s Cauldron Seat. Legend has it that the warrior Fingal tethered his dog named Brat here, which is why Brat’s likeness adorns the bottle.

The Arran single malt character, produced in the sister distillery Lochranza, is characterized by its classic freshness and a hint of peat smoke.

This whisky is bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration or coloring and has a phenol content of 20 ppm.
