Description
Black Velvet first saw the light of day in 1951. The brand was originally known as Black Label, but after Jack Napier, the original distiller, tasted the first batch, he changed the name to Black Velvet to reflect the unusual velvety taste.
A typical Canadian whisky with a mix of rye, barley and corn. Matured for three years in bourbon casks.
