The Carlos Serres Tempranillo Viura Garnacha Rose Rioja DOC 2021 is a fascinating cuvee of 60% Tempranillo, 30% Viura and 10% Garnacha that captures the essence of the famous Rioja region. The grapes come from an exclusive group of winegrowers from Haro, in the heart of Rioja Alta, one of Spain’s most prestigious winegrowing regions. Through long-term partnerships with these winegrowers, the winery can ensure that the vines – with an average age of 10 to 20 years – are optimally cared for and develop their full quality.
The combination of Tempranillo, Viura and Garnacha produces an exciting and balanced wine with a harmonious combination of freshness, structure and fruitiness. While Tempranillo provides the strong base and elegant tannins, Viura brings a lively acidity and floral notes, while Garnacha adds fruity and spicy accents.
