The story of this blended malt begins on a trip to the south of Spain, when John Glaser, ‘whiskymaker’ of Compass Box, learned a lot about the local sherry wines.Years later, when he discovered the typical Scotch whisky, sherry became an issue again, as many whiskies receive a finish in their casks.The Compass Box THE STORY OF THE SPANIARD is a blend of malt whiskies that are aged in sherry casks.All bottlings of Compass Box are not chill-filtered and without colorants.
