Description
The Deutsch Sauvignon Blanc Klassik Vulkanland Steiermark DAC 2024 is a characterful white wine from south-eastern Styria that is one of the flagships of the renowned Deutsch winery. It is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, which are carefully harvested by hand. As one of the estate’s best-known wines and also one of the best Sauvignon Blancs in the region, this wine enjoys a high reputation far beyond the borders of the country. The protected designation of origin Vulkanland Steiermark DAC stands for controlled quality, regional character and clear origin.
The wine is traditionally matured in stainless steel tanks, which ensures that the freshness, clear fruit and typical varietal aromas are optimally preserved. After ageing, the wine is bottled with a screw cap – a modern and practical solution to preserve freshness in the long term. With a moderate alcohol content of 12.5% vol., this Sauvignon Blanc is a versatile, animating wine that shines both as a food companion and on its own. Typical of Styria, it is precise, aromatic and mineral – a prime example of Sauvignon Blanc from the volcanic region.
