Description

Produced on the Ferrand estate located in the heart of the Grande Champagne growing cru, the most sought after appellation in Cognac. Pierre Ferrand produces only Grand Champagne Cognacs or cognacs crafted exclusively from grapes grown in the chalky soils of the Grand Champagne Appellation d’origine contrôlée designation. This Ambre bottling is a blend of Cognacs aged for an average of 10 years, showcasing the bright youthful fruit, along with a greater depth just beginning to show itself after a decade in French Oak. 

On the nose, there is orange peel , chamomile, and floral notes, especially rose and violet. The palate is bright, with citrus, stone fruit, green tea, and a slight oak spice. The finish takes us back to orange peel, along with vanilla, almond, and a wee hit of tingling black pepper. Bottled at 40% abv.
