Description
The Frescobaldi winery, located in picturesque Tuscany, is a traditional family business that has been producing first-class wines for many generations and enjoys an excellent reputation. The family owns over seven wineries in the region, including the renowned Castello Nipozzano, located just 35 km north-east of Florence, as well as Tenuta Castiglioni, Castello Pomino, Remole, Tenuta Perano, Castel Giocondo and Tenuta Ammiraglia.
The wine from Castello Nipozzano, which is considered a traditional Tuscan wine, is characterized by its distinct terroir character and is made from the main grape variety Sangiovese as well as other approved varieties such as Malvasia Nera, Colorino, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. After the grapes have been carefully selected and processed, the wine is matured in barriques, which gives it its special versatility and depth.
