Description
Frescobaldi Remole Rosso Toscana is an elegant red wine that reflects the rich winemaking tradition of Tuscany. Produced by the renowned Frescobaldi family, which has been known for its excellent wines for over 700 years, this wine combines the typical characteristics of the region with modern winemaking techniques. The cuvee consists mainly of Sangiovese grapes, supplemented by a proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, which gives the wine its characteristic structure and depth.
The 2023 vintage was characterized by a cool and rainy start, followed by warm summer months, which led to optimal ripening of the grapes. After the harvest, the wine matured for four months in stainless steel tanks, followed by two months of bottle ageing to preserve its freshness and fruitiness. It also has the potential to mature for up to three years, which can further round off its aromas. The wine is sealed with a natural cork to optimally support the quality and slow, natural maturation.
