The Gold of Mauritius 5 Solera Dark Rum is a youthful yet complex rum from the tropical island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean and impresses with its deep, dark character. This exclusive blend combines various distillates that have been carefully produced and blended on the island to create a full-bodied yet balanced flavor profile.

The maturation process is carried out using the solera method, which gives the rum a special depth. However, before the rum is bottled, it is given an additional six to eight months of maturation in former port wine barrels, which gives it both color and fruity notes.
